Enviromental

Although I am a sole trader working from home with a small studio and gas kiln, I don't want my art to harm the environment for the indulgence of Raku. I want it to achieve quite the opposite whilst bringing joy to those who collect my work.

My Raku produces around half a tonne of CO2 per annum at it's very highest calculations with gas and materials.  A proportion of profits from my ceramics go towards Carbon Neutral Britain who remove 180 tonnes of CO2 per annum with my contribution.

All of their carbon offsetting projects are verified to the highest standards via the four largest Carbon Certifications in the world - the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), Gold Standard Voluntary Emission Reductions (VER), UK and EU Emissions Trading Standard (EU + UK ETS), and the United Nations Certified Emission Reductions (CER) programmes.

Some profits from my Raku also go towards The New Forest Trust which have one simple aim – to secure the future of the New Forest for everybody who loves it.
